With today’s release of the  LP ‘Unsound’ via Fire Records, Mission of Burma share another track from the album, the Clint Conley penned “Second Television”.

According to founding bassist Clint Conley, the track’s title is a reference to the influential New York band Television. As he explains, “The song could be about material aspirations, but it probably has more to do with Adventure, the second album by one of my favorite bands.” When guitarist Roger Miller added his guitar line to the track, “he said he was going for something that sounded heroic, something like Television,” Conley adds.

“Second Television” finds the band at their rowdiest; it’s an assault of double-tracked guitars, frenzied cymbal crashes and Conley’s barking vocals.
