Hot Chip have announced a new UK tour in support of their new album, Why Make Sense?

The electro-pop five-piece will play three UK dates in May, including a gig at Gorilla in Manchester.

Their sixth album, which was recorded in Oxfordshire and London and produced by the band with Mark Ralph, will be released on May 18 on Domino.

The band, comprised of Joe Goddard, Alexis Taylor, Felix Martin, Al Doyle and Owen Clarke, have also released a new video to accompany the album’s opening track, Huarache Lights, which was filmed in one take and is based on a light installation by artist Robert Bell.

The album will also be available as a special edition, which features the bonus four track Separate EP.
