Manchester Academy will host a series of special shows to celebrate the venue’s 25th anniversary.
The Oxford Road venue, which originally opened in October 1990, has announced a series of celebratory gigs including performances from Buzzcocks, Peter Hook and the Light and The Wedding Present.
Buzzcocks will play on October 10, followed by Peter Hook’s new band on October 30, Bruce Foxton from the Jam on October 31, and finally November 14 will see The Wedding Present take centre stage.
