Stealing Sheep are a harmony drenched DIY-pop band from Liverpool. In the hazy shape of ‘psychedelic folktronica’, they play low-fi Casio & Yamaha synth’s that whirl in medieval patterns amongst 60’s style drones, along to hypnotic beats, spiralling whammy guitars and mystical harmonies. This year they recorded their first single ‘I am the Rain’ in Abbey Road Studios, a joint release by indie labels Red Deer Club & Idle Fret on Limited 7” Vinyl, shortly followed by an invite to Rob Da Bank’s live lounge at Maida Vale.

In the winter of ’11 they signed to Heavenly and released an 8 track mini-LP called ‘Noah & the Paper Moon’ on limited 12”, and toured with Emmy the Great in the UK. You can see them live in February supporting Field Music and watch out for their eagerly anticipated debut album coming in 2012.
