Mount Sinai
Not to be confused with the mountain in Egypt, Mount Sinai is the moniker of Mark S. Aaron, formally known as Rooster Cole and frontman and songwriter of Black Black Hills, has released his debut single under the new name “Weightless”.
Setting out to truly reconnect with his musical passions, Mount Sinai concerns himself with tales of overblown gestures, narratives of hope in desolate spaces and beauty in what is quite often the mundane. The band consists of long term musical collaborator Tom Windsor (Black Black Hills/Coin-op), Alex Painter (Great Pagans/Speak Galactic), Max Numajiri (Spacenoid) & Jools Owen (Bear’s Den).
