The finest surf-pop band in all of Halifax, The Orielles are curating a weekend at Fallow Café on the 25th and 26th of November. The catchily titled Late Night with Jimmy Fallow will see them headline both nights. On Friday the 25th they’ll be accompanied by ZuZu, Party Hardly and The Roasts while Saturday will see them supported by the Fentonville Street Band, Corey Bowen and one more to be announced.

To celebrate, they’ve released a live video of new song ‘Krewcut’ that you can watch below. The riff that introduces the video is from previous single ‘Jobin’ which got a cracking review from Silent Radio. It was released as a flexidisc and comic on Art Is Hard Records which are still available, as are tickets for the weekender.

Like all cis-male atopic half Welshmen, I'm a big fan of shouty indie, noisy drone and the daytime Radio 1 playlist. Outside of punk rock my primary interests are tea (white no sugar please) and beer (brown no sugar please). When I'm not writing about stuff for Silent Radio I'm occasionally doing my own stuff which you can read about at http://dead-pheasant.blogspot.com if you want (you should).
