Girlpool are an LA-based duo with a compelling DIY-sound. Wichita Recordings will be releasing a remastered version of their already critically acclaimed debut self-titled EP physically & digitally on Nov 17th.

The pair have shared track ‘Jane’ from the forthcoming record and are set to play their first ever UK dates later this year, with a London show at Sebright Arms on 19th Nov supporting Alex G.

‘Jane’ is an empowering anthem indicative of the vulnerable and raw sound the band has been honing since their conception last year, giving you a glimpse of what to expect from this impactful duo.

Girlpool is made up of Cleo Tucker (Guitar) and Harmony Tividad (Bass). Having met at local DIY venue the Smell, the two quickly grew very close. Their sound is raw, comprised only of a guitar, bass and vocal harmonies.  The band uses this stripped-down instrumentation to accentuate their vulnerable yet powerful lyrics to create honest pieces, tackling concepts ranging from awareness and respect to the simple of feeling of being alone at a show.

Girlpool live:

15th Nov – TYCI @ Bar Bloc, Glasgow

19th Nov – Sebright Arms, London (w/ Alex G)

More live dates to be announced soon.
