Toronto’s Elrichman, the project of Paul Erlichman, has shared new single, ‘Seeking Grey Skies’, the latest track to be taken from his forthcoming album ‘Heaven’s Mayor’. The new album is set to be released on September 4th via Madrid-based label, Bobo Integral.

‘Heaven’s Mayor’ was produced by Alex Gamble, whose previous credits include Fucked Up and Alvvays, with further contributions coming from Jon Pappo of Hooded Fang, Zach Bines of Weaves and Twisted Pine’s Anh Phung.

Speaking about the track, Erlichman says:

“‘Seeking Grey Skies’ is almost a bit nostalgic for me because it’s a song I wrote a very long time ago now, but which I’m glad finally has a home. It’s written from the perspective of someone who is content with being in a bad place and letting it permeate everything in their lives, which perhaps feels kind of judgy now. It was fun to arrange the strings for this one, and I let myself pretend I was arranging for arena rock. Kind of a downcast song but with a big triumphant ending!”
