WU LYF are pleased to announce the support acts for their forthcoming tours of the UK, Europe and North America. The band will be joined by a host of artists across the 24 headline dates including Willis Earl Beal, Dreams, Apes & Horses, Herb Diamante, Dark Times, Holy Esque, Young Montana? and Shinies. In addition to these headline shows, WU LYF are also confirmed to perform at the Coachella festival on 13th and 20th April.

Tickets for all dates are on sale now.

These shows will round off an amazing twelve months for the Manchester quartet. 2011 saw WU LYF release Go Tell Fire To The Mountain, one the year’s most acclaimed debut albums. Recorded in a disused Manchester church, Go Tell Fire To The Mountain was released on the band’s own 100% independent LYF Recordings. The band marked the album release with a 2000 capacity Manchester hometown show in a closed-off road tunnel last July. In addition they headlined venues across the globe throughout 2011 including London’s Shepherds Bush Empire, New York’s Music Hall Williamsburg, Paris’ La Cigale and the Sydney Opera House. Their forthcoming North American tour will be their second US headline tour, following a sold out twelve date tour in November.

January saw WU LYF launch into 2012 with a much talked about debut US TV performance on the Letterman Show which can be seen below.

Meanwhile, WU LYF won the Best New Act award at this year’s Q Awards and are nominated in the Best New Band category at next week’s NME Awards.
