Sissy & The Blisters have unleashed an energetic live performance of ‘Do It Alone’, filmed as part of a Youth Hymns Session. The track, alongside their forthcoming single ‘Killing Time’, is taken from Sissy & The Blister’s debut album, set for release early 2013.

Sissy & The Blisters had a sensational year in 2011. The lead title track from their ‘Let Her Go’ EP was Steve Lamacq’s “single of the year” with Playlists on XFM and 6Music and spins from Radio 1’s Zane Lowe. They played London’s famous Shepherd’s Bush Empire supporting Jim Jones Revue before being personally invited by Huw Stephens (6 Music) to play SWN Festival. With the year ending in Sissy being ‘Tipped for 2012’ by both NME and NYLON Magzine.

The beginning of 2012 saw them play with The Big Pink as part of the NME Tour before retreating into the studio to record the tunes which have now formed what is it safe to say is a very anticipated debut album.
