London four piece, Fiction have just released a new single on the brand new Off Modern Records label.
‘Parakeets’, the follow up to ‘Big Things’, is the bands third release and was produced by The Klaxons’ Anthony Rossomando and mixed by Rodiadh McDonald. Backed with ‘Let The Day Perish’ from the bands recent Blackbox session, the new single is released on seven inch vinyl and is available to download on most digital platforms.
Fiction’s line up of Mike Barrett (Vocals / drums / keyboard), Nick Barrett (guitar), Dave Miller (bass) and James Howard (Vocals / drums / guitar) have also announced new live dates to coincide with the new release, including the Huw Stephen’s curated Lake Stage at Suffolk’s Latitude Festival.
Fiction have been spending the last 3 months locked away in their boiler room rehearsal space off holloway road putting the finishing touches to their debut album.
