The Plan unveil new single and video for the off-kilter ‘Bright Lights’, written about “the conflicting desire for peace and simplicity vs the desire for instability, chaos and extremity. The video features Amy Glover’s ink drawings of The Plan’s faces, devoid of emotion, and in the chorus these images merge with a clip from an installation called ‘The Element of a Thread’ by Anne Hamilton. The footage was kindly loaned to us by US author Anne Kreamer, who we later learned helped launch Spy magazine and co-produced Sesame Street so many thanks to her on all counts…“
