It’s been almost a year since The Kentish Town Forum hosted James Blake’s last live performance on UK shores, but his unique brand of introspective electronica will return to the British stage once again for a series of performances this winter.

Having released one of 2011’s most talked about and critically praised records in the form of his eponymous debut album, James has performed to heaving crowds at gigs and festivals across the planet, whilst album sales are getting on for half a million worldwide.

Another piece of James Blake production will precede the December tour dates, with R&S releasing the long-awaited Harmonimixes of Trimbal’s ‘Confidence Boost’ and ‘Saying’ on September 24th. A link-up between James and ex-Roll Deep member Trim, the Trimbal tracks have been tantalizing fans for over two years since first emerging but are now finally seeing a full release, with ‘Confidence Boost’ also coming accompanied by a video directed by Rollo Jackson, who has previously produced videos for Hot Chip, Franz Ferdinand, and The 2 Bears.

James Blake December tour dates:

03/12 – Bristol, Thekla

04/12 – London, Conway Hall

06/12 – Manchester, Gorilla
