BC Camplight has shared a new animated video to accompany his new single, You Should’ve Gone To School.

The single by BC Camplight, real name  Brian Christinzio, is taken from his third studio album How To Die In the North, which was released through Bella Union earlier this month.

The songwriter, who is originally from Philadelphia, moved to Manchester in 2011 and launched his latest album with a show in his adopted home city, at Gorilla last Friday. (January 23)

His latest album follows 2005’s Hide, Run Away, and 2007’s Blink of a Nihilist.

Away from his solo project, he has played live with The War on Drugs and played on Sharon Van Etten’s 2011 album Epic.

BC Camplight and his band, who were guests on the Silent Radio show on January 10,  will play Glasgow on Saturday, before four more dates in March.
