Following the recent announcement of their O2 Academy Brixton headline show and their support slots on the Arctic Monkeys arena tour, The Vaccines have announced a run of U.K. headline shows in November / December. These shows will be their biggest U.K. gigs to date. Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday 1st July via www.gigsandtours.com and will be priced at £15. 

The tour culminates with a show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton (which has already been announced) where tickets will be priced at £17.50. The band’s debut album, What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, which was released in March of this year, was recently certified gold in the U.K. having sold in excess of 100,000 copies.  They made two triumphant appearances at the Glastonbury Festival this last weekend – their slot on the Other Stage on Friday opened the BBC coverage of the festival. The band have additionally just completed a U.S. tour with the Arctic Monkeys, where Lyle Preslar, formerly of Minor Threat, joined them on stage in NYC, The band also made their U.S. network television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman on May 23rd.
