Montréal-based trio Yoo Doo Right, have unveiled new single with accompanying video ‘Don’t Think You Can Escape your Purpose’. It is the title track of their upcoming debut album due for release via Mothland on May 21st.
The trio is made up of Justin Cober (guitar, synthesizers, vocals), Charles Masson (bass) and John Talbot (drums, percussions) and they have previously released two EPs since their formation in 2016.
Speaking about the new single, they say:
“It’s about a person who is losing touch with reality. Who thinks he has a higher purpose and is supposed to be an ambassador to a higher extraterrestrial race. It’s a looming atmospheric rhythm and crawl.”
