Slaves will release their debut album, Are You Satisfied, on June 1.

The album will be preceded by a new single, Feed The Mantaray, which will be released on March 23.

The record, which is on Virgin EMI, was recorded in London.

The band have also released a new video for their track, The Hunter.

The hotly-tipped duo, comprised of lead singer Laurie Vincent and drummer Issac Holman, say the album is a “colourful, funny and often riotous riposte to the dreary mood of Austerity Britain”.

The band recently supported Interpol, and will head out on this year’s NME Awards Tour — which also features Palma Violets, The Amazing Snakeheads and Fat White Family — from Thursday.
