Big Noble, a collaboration featuring Interpol guitarist Daniel Kessler, will release their debut album today.
Kessler has worked with electronic musician Joseph Fraioli, also known as Datach’i, to produce First Light, which will be released through Affiliates Sound.
The pair first met in 1999, when Kessler was the manager of experimental electronic label Caipirinha, and signed Farioli under his Datach’i alias to record his debut album.
Since then, Kessler has performed on and wrote five Interpol albums, and Fraioli has released 10 albums and formed the company Jafbox Sound, which designs immersive sound for advertisements and films.
The collaboration was spawned when the pair met again in 2008, after Farioli approached Kessler to help him with a film project.
