Following a huge sell-out show at London’s The Scala recently, Wooden Shjips have unveiled their euphoric video for ‘Everybody Knows’, taken from their acclaimed new album Back To Land, out now via Thrill Jockey Records. Directed by Austin Will, the cinematic video is a decadent escape, perfectly suited to the swirling haze of the track.
Having recently moved from San Francisco to Portland, Wooden Shjips have found a new approach to their song-writing which saw them strip away some of their more maximalist tendencies, to allow new textures to breathe, without losing the impact of their earlier material.
