Cabbage

Cabbage have released Terrorist Synthesizer EP on James Skelly’s Skeleton Key Records, the original home of Blossoms and home of She Drew the Gun. The four-track EP is the final in a series of three EPs from the hotly tipped Manchester five-piece, and follows the release of Uber Capitalist Death Trade EP in September and Necroflat In The Palace EP in October. A compilation of the three EPs – Young, Dumb and Full of… – will be released on January 6, 2017.

Write Cabbage of the Terrorist Synthesizer EP:

Exhibit C. The final piece, we Cabbage, an audio organisation, will deliver in our introduction and evidence based protest EPs. This work and statement we find the most damning. Terrorist Synthesizer was created in our indignant dissent earlier this year when the UK voted to bomb Syria. What made this decision all the worse was then leader of the time (the bloke who wanks over animal farm) called the good people of our nation sympathisers of terror. Nuclear weapons create nuclear music. Injustice creates opposing attacks and this is our contribution to the ever-growing class divide and destabilisation of the earth. We want to break out of the algorithm, and tell ourselves and others, you’re worth it. Because you are worth it. A message of hope comes dearly in the hands of a fragile, misconstrued, confused, socially unjust world. Raise a glass of whatever your poison might be and join us in a life long musical protest. The working mans hands are burnt and lied to. Use them to fight back and celebrate victory.

Cabbage are Lee Broadbent (lead vocals), Joe Martin (vocals, guitar), Eoghan Clifford (guitar), Stephen Evans (bass), Asa Morley (drums). They recently completed an extensive headline tour, and will head out on the road again in February 2017 as headliners for the inaugural Neighbourhood Festival tour.
