The coming together of Purity Ring and Jon Hopkins is rooted in a longstanding mutual admiration and creative partnership between both artists: Hopkins previously mixed the song ‘Saltkin’ on Purity Ring’s LP Shrines. In turn, Purity Ring’s Megan James has added vocals to Hopkins’ ‘Breathe This Air’ off his fantastic new album Immunity. The new version of ‘Breathe This Air’ will be released later this summer and both acts will also play together in Los Angeles in August.
