TICKET GIVE-AWAY: POST WAR YEARS
Post War Years, signed to Chess Club/RCA and due to release their new EP called ‘Glass House’ on 23rd July. The EP was produced by James Rutledge (MGMT/Grizzly Bear/Late of the Pier/The Kills) , reminiscent to me of Yeasayer/Wild Beasts, in parts Foals, and even Editors/Interpol at times vocally. They recently wowed the crowds supporting Matthew Dear at his London show, and on tour as main support to The Naked and Famous.
This video was unveiled recently (produced by Tobias Stretch – the mastermind behind various Radiohead/Efterklang videos):
Post Year Wars will be playing Manchester’s Soup Kitchen on Wednesday the 18th of July and we have a pair of tickets to give away. Just leave your name in the comments box below and we’ll pick a name from a hat (more than likely a glass to be honest) on Tuesday. Oh and we’ll chuck in a free download of one of their new tracks.
NOW CLOSED
And the first name picked out is……..
Nicky Marshall
