NEWS: WU LYF – WIN TICKETS FOR THEIR MIF APPEARANCE
On Saturday 16th July, WU LYF will play their only UK festival show at the Manchester International Festival. This unique event will see WU LYF completely closing off Manchester’s Great Bridgewater Street road tunnel (the tunnel that runs underneath the city’s landmark GMEX centre) to traffic and pedestrians, and opening it up as a gig venue for the very first time.
WU LYF are now pleased to announce the rest of the line up for the event. They will be joined by Dirty Beaches, the acclaimed project of Taiwan-Born, Montreal-based Alex Zhang Hungtai, and London’s Gwilym Gold, who recently released his solo debut single ‘Flesh Freeze’
This show will be WU LYF’s first Manchester show of 2011 and their only UK festival date this year.
It follows the release of their debut album ‘Go Tell Fire To The Mountain’ (reviewed here) which the band released globally on 13th June through LYF Recordings.
