Teenaged multi-instrumentalist Kiran Leonard has announced his first UK headline tour, starting on July 15th in Norwich.

No stranger to the BBC 6music playlist, and much loved by bloggers and critics alike, Kiran released Bowler Hat Soup on Hand Of Glory Records on Nov 4th 2013, following the success of singles Dear Lincoln, and Port Aine.

A spectacular live performer, Kiran is backed by a virtuoso band featuring members of Plank!, NASDAQ and Easter, playing a visceral and furious take on his varied catalogue of songs.

After witnessing him opening the main stage at the BBC 6Music festival in Salford in March, Marc Riley declared “That was one of the best things I’ve ever seen”.

Still only 18, and gathering more and more attention from fans and critics alike, this is your best chance to catch the rising star before he heads back into academia this autumn term.

Kiran was also the first ever guest on Silent Radio’s weekly radio show back in March. You can listen to show below.
