Younghusband release their new single ‘Left on the rocks’ on February 17.

It’s the second single to be taken from the band’s debut album, ‘Dromes’, and follows hot on the heels of their well-received seasonal cover of Margo Guryan’s ‘I Don’t Intend To Spend Christmas Without You’, which was given away as a free download in a mince pie.

‘Left Of The Rocks’ comes backed with two brand new recordings: a slow, menacing cover of John Cale’s ‘Gun’, originally found on the ex-Velvet Underground man’s 1974 solo album ‘Fear’ and a live in the studio version of the title track which breaks everything down halfway through and rebuilds it as a relentless, loping groove.

Younghusband will get more opportunities to rework their songs and increase their self-confidence at a London headline show this month and a UK tour supporting Cloud Control.

Younghusband play the following dates:

January 28th  – London – White Heat @ Madame JoJo’s

February 12th – Manchester – Gorilla (with Cloud Control)
